Canadian songwriters and vocalists have had an immense global impact, bringing our culture and popular music to airwaves and concert halls everywhere. In a captivating evening of story and song Martin, with her masterful band of four musicians, celebrates some of Canada’s most enduring popular music, while giving audiences a few new discoveries with her own acclaimed songwriting inspired by some of our most iconic artists such as Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell.

Stephanie Martin is a bilingual Canadian artist and performer. She works in theatre, in film and television, in radio and the recording arts. She has held starring roles in theatrical productions across Europe and North America (Les Misérables, Napoleon, Schwartz’s, the musical). She is a featured artist with symphony orchestras all over Canada and the U.S. with ‘Jeans ‘n Classics’. She has recorded for Disney Records (Pocahontas), EMI Broadway (Napoleon) and Trema Records (Les Misérables). She has released three solo recordings of original music which have received worldwide airplay.
